Our recent experience with Dr. Tower was very disappointing. My father went in for a routine biopsy, which turned out to be 4 days in the hospital. We understand that things can go wrong during surgery, but it was more than that. After lacerating my Dad's lung, another surgery was necessary to stop the leak. Apparently there was no anesthesiologist on the premise at St Agnes Hospital at this time, so surgery continued with a local that did nothing. My father is a practicing dentist at 88 years old and is very much aware of protocol. Hair on my father's chest and underarm was ripped off by Dr. Tower's hand, when asked if he could use a razor, somehow he wasn't able to use it. This surgery needless to say was the most painful thing my father has experienced in his entire 88 years of life. I think the most troubling part of this entire process was Dr Tower was never heard from again. No phone call to follow up, nothing , simply out of town. We, speaking for the patient and entire family experienced a lack of communication and compassion through this entire process!
